Device replacement Guarantee
In addition to any statutory rights, and subject to the following, Energizer® will repair or replace, at our option, any device damaged by leakage from these AA or AAA Energizer MAX® Alkaline batteries for up to two years after full discharge. If exact replacement is not available, devices may be replaced with a product of comparable market value at the time of the claim. Leaking battery and damaged device must be provided to Energizer® as proof of claim. The guarantee is limited to repair or replacement of device to the value of $250 and does not apply to claims for damage caused by misuse or modification of the batteries or device. To claim, contact Energizer at 1 Figtree Drive, Sydney Olympic Park, NSW Australia 2127, or free call 1-800-810-310. In New Zealand, to claim, contact Energizer at 8 Gabador Place, Mt Wellington, Auckland, or free call 0800 803 837, and at your own cost return these batteries with proof of purchase and damaged device to Energizer at that address. This guarantee gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from country to country. In particular, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. WARNING: Do not install backwards, charge, put in fire or mix with used or other battery types – may explode or leak causing injuries. Replace all batteries at the same time.
